Computer Science Department 

The Computer Science department at our institute provides students with a comprehensive education in the field of computer science. Our faculty members are experts in their respective areas of research, and they are committed to providing students with a high-quality education.
Since June 2015, a collaborative initiative between the Computer Science department of our Institute and IIT Bombay has provided free and open-source software training opportunities for students. This partnership has facilitated the conduction of 117 training sessions, effectively engaging 3888 students pursuing various degree programmes within the institution.
From the academic year 2019-2020 to 2023-2024, the Computer Science Laboratory has acquired 40 brand-new, cutting-edge desktop computers to enhance hands-on learning, practical applications, and project work for students.
Over the past five academic years, the Board of Studies (BoS) has convened three meetings. The first gathering was organized for students enrolled in the 2019-2020 academic year and beyond. Subsequently, the second meeting was held for students enrolled in the 2022-2023 academic year. Finally, the third meeting was conducted for students enrolled in the 2023-2024 academic year and later.
